FotoWeek DC is coming to Crystal City. 150 photographs will be featured including the Newseum's Fotobama exhibition and the winners of the 2009 FotoWeek DC competition. There will also be a photo projection on the facade of 2450 Crystal Drive.
A fashion photography exhibition will be featured at Crystal City's newest luxury apartment complex - 220 20th Street - in the Penthouse suite with amazing views of the Washington skyline. This satellite exhibition is the work of Malek Naz Freidouni and paves the way for Crystal Couture, the area's premier fashion event, coming in February 2010.
FotoWeek was founded in 2008 to celebrate the power of photography with its first weeklong festival drawing over 20,000 visitors and is expected to produce even greater numbers this year. FotoWeek DC 2009 will be a photographic immersion, featuring the latest in documentary and fine art, in addition to every genre of photography.
