Crystal Ride: 4th Annual U.S. Air Force Cycling Classic

Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities are encouraged to try the Crystal Ride Cycling Challenge-3.5 hours on the car-free, 12.5km course.

The weekend's events will begin on Saturday, June 12th, with the Air Force Cycling Classic Clarendon Cup, the criterium race that highlights the famous 1km course around the Clarendon Metro. The day's featured Men's Pro race begins shortly after noon and will again highlight cycling's top Professionals.

At 7:30AM on Sunday, June 13th, cycling enthusiasts of all abilities will be able to ride on the Air Force Cycling Challenge's Crystal Ride. Participants can ride up to 3½ hours on the car-free, 12.5km course.  Participants in the Air Force Cycling Challenge Crystal Ride can earn a gold medal by completing 8 laps in under 3½ hours. A silver medal is earned by riding 4 laps, and a bronze for 2 laps. Following this amateur ride, the Men's and Women's Professionals will race again, with most of the nation's top cyclists expected to be in attendance.

Both days are great for the entire family!  Spectator admission is FREE!
