5K Fridays
The Crystal Run 5k Fridays race series is back! Join the Crystal City BID and Pacers Running Stores every Friday in April at 6:30PM for one of the most popular and fun 5k races in the metro area! Racers will run a professionally timed and certified course along a fast and fun route through Crystal City! Be brave and run all five— competing each week to beat your previous time and start your weekends off with a Fit start!

TIMING
5K Fridays will utilize the IPICO timing system. Chips and bibs will be distributed on race day. If you are registered for multiple races or the entire series, you are encouraged to reuse your bib and timing tag. At the end of the series, you can recycle your tag at the finish line or at any Pacers Running Store.
Results will be posted online after 9pm the evening of the event. Cumulative results will be maintained. There are no age group or overall prizes.
DIRECTIONS - PARKING - METRO
Crystal Run 5K Fridays start and finish at 2121 Crystal Drive. 2121 Crystal Drive is located between 20th and 23rd Streets.
The closest METRO stop is Crystal City. Exit at 18th Street and walk east towards Crystal Drive. Turn right (head south) until you reach 2121 Crystal Drive.
ROAD CLOSURES
Roads in and around the course are closed from 6:15pm to 7:30pm every night of the event series.
PACKET PICK UP
Online registration will close promptly at noon on Fridays to prepare for the evening’s 5K. Online registration will reopen at 9:00pm Friday nights. You may register onsite for a race from 5:30pm-6:15pm as well as immediately after the run for a later 5K Friday.<.p>
MORE RACE INFORMATION
There is no runner premium for this event.
There will be a water stop on course and at the finish.
The course is USATF-certified and will be the same course for each Friday event.
Must be able to complete 5K in one hour or less.
